Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the book world-image as an important part of Bitov’s artistic consciousness. The author examines the universal and individual-author's ways of concept representation, considers the units that form its structural and semantic originality, points to the relationship of the concepts of "book", "culture" and "memory", as well as actualizes the problem of rethinking the phenomenon of the book in the modern world.
