Abstract

This article represents some experience in studying the folk epic poem “Ural batir” at school. A narrator of who knows the epic and participates in folk competitions was invited to one of the literature lessons. The experiment shows a qualitatively new level of students' perception of artistic material associated with the advantages of narration.
