Abstract

The article deals with the possibility of using neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) in the process of teaching English. Both the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed techniques and strategies are presented. Modeling such a difficult and complex skill like learning a foreign language requires splitting it into a number of interrelated skills. NLP tools allow you to identify various interesting points that are hidden from the usual teacher of the English language. They are eye movements, patterns of behavior, beliefs, strategies, non-verbal reactions, actions of anchors and more. Learning a foreign language can be modeled. Differing from other areas of knowledge, neuro-linguistic programming is one of the areas of human knowledge, one of the first to step into the description of successful models of human experience, almost touching the way the thinking and behavior of the “model” is organized and arranged a person who owns any skills, competence. It is recommended to conduct your own modeling projects, and the understanding and awareness of the new tools will come as a result of the research done regarding the experience of other people. In this way, we can enrich our own experience based on unique neuro-linguistic programming tools and enrich neuro-linguistic programming based on the uniqueness of each. To a greater degree of complexity, the development of any foreign language is associated not so much with human capabilities as with effective methods of learning and training programs that are built on their basis. A range of the English language strategies are proposed.
