Abstract

The aim of this article is to determine the peculiarities of the fairy tale genre representation in the art of video poetry. The authors of the article have chosen to analyse works in the fairy tale genre, presented in different years at the international festival-competition of video poetry "Videostikhiya". Video poetry is viewed by the authors of the article as a way to introduce modern readers to reading poetry, to the art of immersion in poetry.

The researchers' attention is focused on the correlation of the sounding verbal series with visual and musical images; they also point out the peculiarities of recitation, the influence of the human voice on the perception of the poetic clip. The authors of the article show how the poetic text and the images of the poetic clip correlate with each other, complementing each other.

The researchers consider not only the content of the fairy tales themselves, but also visual and expressive means, video techniques and means of animation, which allow the creators of the video clip to enhance the emotional impact of poetry on readers/viewers and deepen the understanding of the meaning of the literary work.

The authorial origin of the literary fairy tale is manifested in each work in its own way, although the common feature is the use of the category of the miraculous as the basis for the construction of a special fairy tale world, be it the world of childhood, the magical world of princesses and dragons, or the archaic world that unites nature and man.

The relevance of the work is determined by the material introduced for the first time into scientific use, as well as by the attempt to consider the art of video poetry from the point of view of its genre varieties, since the division of video poetry into genres is itself an urgent problem that needs to be solved. To study the selected video clips in the fairy tale genre, the phenomenological method of analysis is used.
