Abstract
In article the fragment of «the festive text» of the Russian court culture of the 1720th – the weddings of the Russian noblemen described in the diary of the Holstein nobleman F. W. von Bergholtz is considered. «An idea» of a holiday of wedding in relation to ancient wedding rituals and new secular culture of Petrine Russia is analyzed from a position of an imagology.
