Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the concept «justice» in the Russian language. The changes in the meaning of the concept in the past and at the present time are revealed. The process of word formation and what it means now are analyzed. Using contextual examples, the correlation with other concepts, changes of perception and meaning of this concept were revealed. The subject of the research is the meaning of "justice". The purpose of the research is to identify the meaning of the concept, tracing the change of the connotation depending on the context and additional words. For a complete analysis of the concept the examples of contexts and additional words in the National Corpus of the Russian language were taken. The difference in the perception of the concept, different meanings of «justice» determine the relevance of the research. With the help of the technique of comparison of examples of the use of words, the following results were achieved: the difference in meaning, situations in which the concept is applied. The study showed the versatility of the word, reflected the peculiarities of its use in different situations, which determined the significance of the research. The concept «justice» is connected with other concepts, such as «equality», «good», «right», etc. The study of these connections will help to better understand how to properly apply the concept of «justice» in different spheres of life. Thus, the study of the concept «justice» in the Russian language allows us to understand how it has changed over time, how it depends on the context in which it is used and how it is related to other concepts. The meanings of the word can change depending on time, place and circumstances, and it is necessary to take the context into account when using it. The study of this concept helps to understand how the perception of the idea of justice changes depending on the situation.
